Juris Doctor, J.D./Political Science-Intelligence and National Security Studies, MA

This Juris Doctor/Master of Political Science-Intelligence and National Security Studies program allows students to pursue a law degree and a master's degree simultaneously to prepare students to become national security professionals who are both versed in the law and the issues and policies of the national security establishment.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Master of Arts in Political Science-Intelligence and National Security Studies program and to the Juris Doctor program in the School of Law.

Joint Degree Courses: 12 credits

MA-Political Science-Intelligence and National Studies Track: 18 credits

Joint degree total credits: J.D.-MA-Political Science-Intelligence and National Security Studies Joint Courses: 12 credits

NOTE: Students must take Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and 6 additional elective credits relevant to the degree from either the LAWX 684 or LAWX 884 umbrella course numbers. Students may choose any combination of 6 credits from either or both of those umbrella course numbers to complete this requirement.
