Extended Campus

The University of Akron Extended Campus (UAx) brings the University to you, offering online, continuing, and professional education. UAx supports all types of learners, including credit or non-credit, K-12, undergraduates, graduates, alumni, job seekers, or community members.

UAx provides options for everyone, whether you're re-entering the workforce, shifting careers, advancing on a current path, continuing a degree, or exploring personal interests. Specialized programs are available in high-demand fields like AI, data analytics, and project management. 

As a liaison between the University and local corporations, UAx hosts a wide array of noncredit and certification programs, both in person and online, for career development, personal enrichment, and professional growth. UAx also plans and delivers on-site training for corporations of any size, with many courses approved for license re-certification by professional, national, and state organizations.
