Certificate in Cyber Forensics (225001C)
The Cyber Forensics Certificate provides an educational foundation in both the legal and technical aspects of computer crime investigation. Students explore the criminology of high technology crime, criminal law as it applies to digital evidence, the investigative process, and professional communication. Students will gain hands-on experience with contemporary forensic tools and receive technical instruction in computer hardware, networks, and operating systems. Individuals working in the legal and investigative fields that seek to enhance their technical skills and beginners with a general interest in the subject area are welcome.
This certificate may be earned independent of earning a degree.
