Educational Technology, Certificate
This program is a fully online, asynchronous program for those with a K-12 teaching license who wish to add a Educational Technology endorsement onto that teaching license or for individuals in other work settings who are interested in designing and creating online learning resources and/or managing technology settings.
The program is designed to engage students in theory and teaching strategies to effectively implement technology in K-12 instruction and other settings.
Graduate students must apply for the certificate program through the Graduate School. A minimum grade point average of 2.75 is required. Passage of the state assessment in Technology Education (Subsets I & II) are required in order to apply for and obtain the state licensure endorsement.
Admission Requirements
Students must have a 2.5 undergraduate GPA in order to be admitted to this program.

Any student who wishes to obtain the Technology Endorsement on their existing K-12 Ohio Teaching license must 1.) take and pass the OAE assessments 046 and 047, 2.) apply to the Ohio Department of Education to add the license to their existing teaching license
