Applied Statistics Track, MS
The Applied Statistics track prepares students to enter the workforce. Students will learn how to use data to solve problems in a wide variety of fields, ranging from business and industry to medical research.
Admission Requirements
Entrance into the M.S. Statistics program requires either:
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 and one semester of Applied Statistics, or the equivalent
or
- Successful completion of the Statistical Data Science, Certificate program.
Applicants must also submit at least one current letter of recommendation.

Upon approval of the Statistics Master’s Paper by the student’s adviser and reader, the paper must be presented in a colloquium to faculty and students.
