Allied Health Care Administration/Medical Sonography Accelerated Program, BS

Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Care Administration/Medical Sonography (275008BS)

Students admitted under the program fulfill their senior year of undergraduate credits through the successful completion of their medical sonography certificate, allowing them to graduate with both a bachelor’s degree and medical sonography certificate in just four years, saving a year of tuition and related costs, and they begin their legal careers a year ahead of time.

Students admitted to the Cleveland Clinic Sonography Program will receive a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration after completing their coursework towards the ultrasound certificate.

Applications are open from March 1 to June 1 of each calendar year. 

  • Are in good academic, financial and disciplinary standing at their undergraduate institution; 
  • Shall have a cumulative GPA of 2.75.
  • Applicants must have completed the following college credit prerequisites with a grade of C or better;
  • Applicants must have completed a background check
  • Applicants must have completed a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Course
  • Must participate in a behavior-based interview with program officials.

The following information has official approval of The Department of Allied Health and The College of Health and Human Sciences, but is intended only as a supplemental guide. Official degree requirements are established at the time of transfer and admission to the degree-granting college. Students should refer to the Degree Progress Report (Stellic) which is definitive for graduation requirements. Completion of this degree within the identified time frame below is contingent upon many factors, including but not limited to: class availability, total number of required credits, work schedule, finances, family, course drops/withdrawals, successfully passing courses, prerequisites, among others. The transfer process is completed through an appointment with your academic advisor.
