Athletic Coaching, Minor

Minor in Athletic Coaching (555235M)

The Athletic Coaching minor is geared towards students interested in learning content and skills related to the athletic coaching profession.  Courses will include philosophy, motivation, leadership and the pedagogy methods in coaching.  Students will earn a Level 1 National Federation of High School Sports (NFHS) Coaching credential. 

Requirements for Admission

Admission to the University of Akron and have a 2.5 or greater overall GPA.
